Refund policy

Returns

All items are custom handmade and made-to-order, therefore, all sales are final! We do no accept any exchanges.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, without tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@dogsinthewildco.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 7028 Wilson Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges. Please ensure you are referencing our size guide before ordering. All collars are custom made and made-to-order, therefore, all sales are final!

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@dogsinthewildco.com.

As these are hand-crafted, made-to-order collars, all sales are final.  Please reference our Size Guide on our page, before purchasing and email us if you have any questions prior to purchase, or would like a sizing confirmation! If you measured your animal's head or neck as outlined in the size guide properly  (head measurement on widest part of the head for slip-on/martingale collars,  snug upper/middle neck measurement for buckle collars) and you believe there's been a mistake on sizing, or if your item arrived damaged, please email or use the Contact form to notify us within 5 days of receiving your order so we can make it right.  If you believe sizing was incorrect, we will ask for an image confirming proper measurement to ensure the initial order was correct along with the collar made.  Please know this is in place to safeguard our small business, and we are happy to work with you! If you are unhappy with your order, please reach out to us so we can try our best to make it right. 

For pre-authorized returns, no refunds or store credit will be issued until product is returned in new, as-shipped condition to the following address:
